Achievements, Endings and 100% Completion
The milestones worth chasing in Bruisers 2D Boxing, how the endings branch, and what to plan for if you want to see all of them. Source: Bruisers 2D Boxing on Steam
Bruisers tracks its progress inside the career rather than on a separate trophy list. At the time of writing there are no Steam achievements attached to the app, so completion means the in-game milestones and the endings.
The career milestones
The obvious ones:
- First amateur win. The tutorial that matters.
- First professional contract. The career proper begins.
- First ranked win. Proof you belong in the division.
- Top-ten ranking. The point where purses change.
- Title shot. The campaign's goal.
- World champion. The peak.
- Undisputed / unified. For players who keep going after the first belt.
Each is a checkpoint rather than a trophy. The game does not celebrate them loudly, which is why the news feed is where you confirm them.
The endings
Endings branch on three axes: record, money, and reputation.
- The champion who walks away. High record, healthy bank, clean reputation.
- The damaged fighter. Great record, bad medicals, forced out.
- The criminal. Money and reputation built through the mob thread.
- The journeyman. Long career, modest record, no title.
- The comeback. A late run after a losing streak.
- The second career. Retirement into training, promoting or managing.
You cannot see all of them in one save, and some are mutually exclusive by design. That is the replay value.
Planning a completion run
If you want to see most endings efficiently:
- First career: Balanced, clean. Play it straight, win a title, retire healthy. That covers the champion ending and most milestones.
- Second career: Bully, criminal. Take the mob thread, the businesses and the dives. That covers the criminal ending and the mob-specific milestones.
- Third career: short and brutal. Take the doping route, fight constantly, and see how the medical ending plays out.
Three careers, roughly thirty to forty hours, covers the content the game currently ships.
Missable milestones
Some are easy to miss because nothing tells you they exist:
- Winning a fight after being knocked down — the game does not flag it, but it is a real achievement in the fiction.
- Retiring with an undefeated record — requires choosing opponents carefully and stopping at the right time.
- Winning a title after a losing streak — needs a career you nearly threw away.
- Beating a rival in a rematch — only available if you lost the first fight.
What does not count
- Bareknuckle wins do not advance sanctioned milestones.
- Dive losses count against your record permanently.
- Exhibition and split-screen results do not touch career progress.
Achievements and the review
Completionists should know the honest position: this is an early access build, the achievement layer is thin, and the game's value is in the career simulation rather than a trophy list. If a checklist is the main reason you play, wait.
If you want the full verdict, read is Bruisers worth it. For the ladder that produces most of these milestones, see career progression.
What is worth tracking yourself
With no Steam achievements, the only record of a good career is your own. These are the milestones that actually mean something, and the ones worth chasing in a second run.
Division titles. Winning a belt in more than one division is the clearest proof you understood the weight system rather than just out-growing opponents. It also forces you to fight at a size you are not built for.
An undefeated run to the title. Harder than it sounds once injuries and mandatory defences stack up. One bad weight cut ends it.
A knockout streak on the contender list. Useful because the Contenders page remembers your finish types; a run of stoppages changes how the news feed and rivals talk about you.
A clean career. No dives, no mob debt, no positive test. The ending text is different, and it is the rarest of the routes because the money is worse.
A short career. Retiring on top, before the decline, is a legitimate achievement in a game that models aging. Most players fight two years too long.

FAQ
Are there Steam achievements?
No. The launch build does not list Steam achievements.
What counts as a career milestone?
Division titles, undefeated runs, knockout streaks and clean careers are the milestones worth tracking yourself.
Do endings count as achievements?
There is no achievement system, but the ending text changes based on how you retired and what you did on the way.
